J.K Rowling found the names for the witches and wizards from a 17th century book called " Culpeper's Complete Herbal"
In 2009, she revealed that Dumbledore's character was actually gay and had a thing for Grindelwald.
Her favorite beast in the book was the phoenix.
She got the name for the school from a planth she saw at London's Kew garden known as HOGWARTS.
