Brad Pitt was smacked by the red carpet prankster at Maleficent premiere yesterday. From e! online

Brad Pitt almost brought back Fight Club (but shhh, you don't talk about Fight Club).
After being one of the last to happily arrive to the blue carpet hand-in-hand with his lady Angelina Jolie for the Hollywood premiere of Maleficent, the hunky star found himself in a very awkward and almost physical situation.
An eyewitness tells E! News that notorious red carpet prankster Vitalii Sediuk (you remember him, right?) rushed the A-lister after deciding to jump the rope and hop onto the carpet. Sediuk apparently got into contact with Brad but police quickly took control of the situation and detained the man.
LAPD tells E! News that Pitt was walking the carpet when a man jumped over the barricade. The male individual made contact with the star and officers arrested the man. He was taken into custody and is being booked for battery. The police department does not have any information on whether or not Pitt retaliated.
Regardless, it doesn't seem like Brad was fazed by the surprise encounter in the slightest. Photos taken of the actor directly after the incident occurred show him smiling and waving at fans while also laughing (presumably about the whole thing) with his bodyguard.Pitt isn't only there to support his fiancé, but also his youngest daughter Vivienne, who plays a young Aurora in the film. Angelina recently spoke to E! News about the difficulties of getting the 4-year-old to do the different tasks on set, and how the entire family came together to help.
"So Brad and I, and her brothers and sisters, were all there, and I had to get the pole with the blue stick on the end that was the butterfly and I had to kind of dance in front of her," Jolie, who plays the titular evil-for-a-reason queen, said laughing.
"And then Brad had to be on the edge of the cliff that she was going to jump off of, and her brothers and sisters were trying to encourage her on... But she made us work for it. We worked hard that day. Disney said it was the funniest dailies they've ever seen, 'cause they could see us, obviously, and we had to be painted out. But we were in the shot tyring to get her to do it."
