Vampires and nudity — it's kind of like chocolate and peanut butter, isn't it?
HBO's venerable vampire drama “True Blood” ambles its way toward a seventh and final season on June 22, and in celebration of this momentous event the premium cable channel has released a trailer for the upcoming swan song.
So you have Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) and Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) slipping naked into a bath together, which is quite sexy, except they also slip into a vampire conversation, which is not very sexy because as every vampire-fiction fan knows, a little garlic and a wooden stake will take care of all of that. (Make sure your home preparedness kit is updated.)
There's also, as one would imagine, a fair amount of blood — the series, after all, has “Blood” right in the title, so it's to be expected.
