Gotham director wants to introduce Mr Freeze

Gotham is certainly one of the TV shows to watch this fall with the early plot reviews being favorable to the show. During an HitFix interview, Director of the show's pilot, Danny Cannon stated that he would like to bring in Mr Freeze who is one of Batman's most famous villains. The director is not in a hurry to turn the villains into who we know them to be yet and he said he didn't sign on until they network agreed they were not going to hurry them up about the villains.

Although he is the only one that has the intention to bring in Mr Freeze since Bruno Heller and Geoff Johns has not yet set their minds on the iceman.

I have a big pitch with Bruno about the Mr. Freeze character, whose origins are uncertain. If I can win Geoff Johns over and if I can win Bruno over, then I look forward to the moment where that character can be realized.

The show currently has a long list of villains to bring on the show including The Riddler, Catwoman, Penguin, Fishmoney and other they can work into the show's plot if the show eventually exceeds the 13 episodes the network signed with them.
