Scoot McNairy rumored to be joining the Batman Vs Superman team

Scoot McNairy, notable for some of his most recent movie like 12 Years a Slave and his tv show Halt and Catch Fire is rumored to join the casts of Batman Vs Superman in an unidentified role that people are speculating to be the role of Nightwing who is Batman's sidekick. 

Also, considering this talented actor's pedigree, He will not be casted in a small role but to the news about him as Nightwing, I am not really sure how true the story is.
