Spider-Man: Possibility of a Black Spider-Man

The rumor going around is that the next spider-man movie will be played by a black man and to be precise, the character will likely be Miles Morales. Who is Miles Morales you ask? I know all comic book readers especially spider-man fans know that name. He is Peter Parker's alternate making this current rumor mill very curious indeed.

Earlier, there was a rumor going around that Percy Jackson's Logan Lerman might be playing the role of the new spider-man but as it turns out, that might not be the case. The Wrap's Jeff Sneider said during his appearance at the "Meet the Movie Press" podcast that he is 95% sure that the next spider-man won't be Peter Parker.

"Listen, this is not set in stone guys, but I’m telling you right now, Spider-Man’s not going to be white. Spider-Man’s not going to be white. I’m 95% sure. Spider-Man’s going to be most likely black. But there’s a chance he could also be Latino. 95% sure, not white."

Like any rumor, this might also be an hoax as neither Marvel nor Sony have publicly made a statement about this so we might be wrong but if this is true, what do you think the movie will look like?
